Never Mind The Buzzcock’s Daisy-May Cooper reveals she once played a woman ‘possessed by a haunted smoke machine’ in ‘ludicrous’ music video

Daisy-May Cooper has reveled she once starred in a ‘ludicrous’ music video before hitting the big time.

The actress, 37, said it was filmed on a tiny £200 budget and her role was a ‘bar manager possessed by a smoke machine’.

Speaking ahead of the new series of Never Mind The Buzzcocks she said: ‘I actually was in a music video for [British MC Duo] The Ragga Twins about a haunted smoke machine which they filmed on a budget of £200’.

‘I played a bar manager who gets possessed by the haunted smoke machine… It was f****** ludicrous’.

The Ragga Twins, consisting of Deman Rocker and Flinty Badman, have been pioneers in the UK Ragga [a sub genre of reggae] scene since 1989 and have released numerous singles and four studio albums.

She also discussed her own musical tastes ahead of taking to the music themed comedy-show panel with Greg Davies, Noel Fielding and Jamali Maddix.

Saying: ‘The thing is, other people’s guilty pleasures are what my actual music taste is. I bought The Tweenie’s single No. 1 because it was an actual banger’.

She also said she would love to form a band with X Factor’s Honey G and actress  Kathy Burke, cheekily suggesting they could call themselves ‘Atomic Pussy’.

It comes after Daisy has showcased an incredible body transformation since splitting from her ex-husband, and a brief romance with chef Ryan Weymouth after getting his name tattooed on her wedding finger during their five-month romance.

Daisy and her husband Will Weston went their separate ways in July 2021 after she admitted ‘there wasn’t real love there’, before enjoying a relationship with Ryan.

Their relationship also came to an end and since then, Daisy has dedicated a lot of time and effort into her physique.

Daisy recently caught the eye of Saturday Night Takeaway viewers as she guest starred as the voiceover during a live episode on March 11.

She stunned fans with her ‘unbelievable’ new look in a belted black satin shirt dress and her blonde hair styled into soft curls.

Fans of the show said that she looked ‘absolutely gorgeous’ following her incredible weight loss transformation.

Recently, Daisy posted a sexy mirror selfie where she wore a busty bodysuit with a plunging neckline and high-legs, with little left to the imagination.

She told her one million Instagram followers that she was ‘chuffed with her norks’ after posting the racy full-body snap wearing a black lace bodysuit.

Last year, Daisy revealed she had been using the Keto Diet to slim down after lockdown, which involves eating foods which are low carb and high fat.

In a candid chat with Grazia magazine in October, discussing her appearance, Daisy said: ‘I’m so for body positivity but when I was at my biggest I was at my most miserable and I had a massive food addiction. I wasn’t healthy. I couldn’t breathe when I was walking up the stairs. I was so unhappy.’

Daisy first revealed she was following the Keto Diet in a now deleted Instagram post.

She was forced to apologise to fans who were offended by the weight loss post as she admitted: ‘I should have known better.’

Daisy said she’s been following the low carbohydrate plan since welcoming her second child in September 2021 and took to social media to show off her slimmed down tummy.
