New colorectal surgeon joins Baptist Health Medical Group | Clark County

NEW ALBANY — Biruk Almaz, MD, a colorectal surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive procedures to treat colon and anorectal conditions, has joined the Baptist Health Medical Group.

He is certified in fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery, advanced trauma life support, fundamentals of endoscopic surgery, American Board of Surgery, basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric advanced life support and da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery.
