Omaha police identify woman seriously injured in Friday morning shooting

A woman was seriously injured by gunfire early Friday morning in Omaha. Omaha Police told KETV NewsWatch 7 that officers responded to 20 and Lake around 1:40 a.m. to investigate people arguing over a 911 hotline. When officers arrived, police said they found the victim, identified as 28-year-old Tylesha Tucker, inside a house. She had been shot several times. Paramedics transported Tucker to Nebraska Medicine with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said they were interviewing witnesses to get an idea of ​​what happened before the shooting. They said they had a possible description of the vehicle, but were still investigating that lead.
