Police said that multiple 911 calls were received at approximately 1 p.m. and ShotSpotter equipment was triggered by the sounds of the incident. “We can confirm that there are multiple victims and this is an active and ongoing investigation,” police wrote. The office of Holyoke Mayor Joshua Garcia said the mayor was aware of the shooting and would provide more details later in the afternoon.
