— A deputy was dispatched at 2:06 a.m. Saturday for an alarm going off at a local residence on Buffalo Road, Hanover Township. The deputy checked the home and found all doors and windows secure.

— A deputy on patrol at 12:58 a.m. Friday on state Route 14 in Unity Township located a vehicle in the parking lot of Dollar General. The vehicle was found secure and no one was located in the area or around the business.

— Deputies were called at 2:59 a.m. Aug. 9 to East Liverpool Road for a male walking along the road with a small child. Deputies located the male and a young female later identified as his daughter. A warrant was found for his arrest out of the courts in Columbiana County. David Bradley, 34, last known address East Liverpool, was taken into custody on a warrant for failure to appear for child support. His daughter was transported to a grandparent who has temporary custody.

— A caller from Kelly Park Road, Fairfield Township, reported at 6:01 a.m. Aug. 8 that their mailbox was destroyed for the fourth time. A deputy responded and noted the damage appeared to be from a vehicle striking the mailbox. It was recommended to possibly move the box and see if that prevents the mailbox from getting damaged.

— A disturbance was reported at 2:52 a.m. Aug. 5 at Scott Drive and Knox School Road in Knox Township where a woman said she wanted her ex-boyfriend removed. He fled before deputies arrived. The woman said he had been driving through the neighborhood honking his horn, he was allegedly intoxicated and he had messaged her constantly and was harassing her and her friend. She did not want to file charges and neither did the friend. They signed refusals. The male and the vehicle were not located.

Salem

— Officers responded to the 800 block of Sunset Boulevard at 6:53 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a suspicious man in that park that allegedly threatened the caller. The caller advised a man walking his dog without a leash threatened him with bodily harm when he advised him to put the dog on a leash. Officers located the man and advised him of the complaint. The man denied threatening the caller but did admit to not having his dog on a leash. Officers advised him about the city leashing ordinance, and he advised he would keep the dog on a leash in the future.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 9:14 p.m. Sunday for a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile and her mother had a dispute that afternoon after which the juvenile had left the residence. The juvenile was last seen heading to an unknown destination wearing a white hoodie and shorts. A missing juvenile form was completed and entered into LEADS.

— Officers responded to the area of Rose Avenue and East Third Street at 9:26 p.m. Sunday for a reported animal complaint. The caller advised that there were two dogs running around and one was hit by a car. The caller held one of the dogs until a humane agent arrived. The dog that was struck could not be located.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of Liberty Street at 8:04 p.m. Sunday for a report of a road rage incident that had continued into the city. The caller advised a silvery Chevrolet Silverado had followed them to their residence but fled while the caller was on the phone with the police. The caller also advised they had a possible video.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 7:10 p.m. Sunday for a report of a man walking around without shoes and yelling. When officers spoke to the man, he advised he was attempting to walk home, and officers stood by while the man found his shoes and advised him to be on his way.

— Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 6:50 p.m. Sunday for a report of damage to her vehicle. Officers observed the vehicle to have a shattered back window and a dent on the roof. The caller advised that they believed their neighbor was responsible for the damage, but the damage was determined to have been caused by a tree branch.

— Officers responded to the area of East State Street at 6:14 p.m. Sunday for a reported parking complaint. A vehicle was parked at the intersection impeding traffic, and officers spoke with the owner, who moved the vehicle.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of East State Street at 4:58 p.m. Sunday for a report of a suspicious person. Officers spoke with the person in question and advised them of the complaint.

— Officers responded to the 600 block of West Seventh Street at 3:26 p.m. Sunday for a reported breaking and entering. The caller advised his ex-girlfriend was inside his residence without his permission and that she moved out in May. The caller requested officers advise her to leave but did not want to pursue any criminal charges at that time. Officers informed her of the request to exit the property, and she advised that she thought she still had a legal right to be there since she got mail at the property. Officers explained the relevant laws to her.

— Officers responded to the 600 block of Franklin Avenue at 2:58 p.m. Sunday for a medical call. Officers stood by while the fire department entered the residence and provided medical attention. Once inside, the fire department advised nothing further was needed.
