Premier League team news: Latest on Eze, Casemiro and Udogie ahead of matchweek 11

The Premier League is back following the midweek Carabao Cup games.

It’s almost hard to believe but we are over a quarter of the way through the 2023-24 season and the table is starting to take shape. Tottenham Hotspur, occupying top spot, host London rivals Chelsea on Monday night in arguably the pick of the action.

Elsewhere, Arsenal travel to Newcastle United on Saturday with Luton Town welcoming Liverpool to Kenilworth Road on Sunday.

The Athletic brings you all the latest team news and injury updates heading into matchweek 11.

Saturday, November 4 (12.30pm GMT)

Fulham team news: Centre-back Issa Diop will miss the game at Craven Cottage with an ankle injury. Defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Kenny Tete are edging closer to a return, while winger Adama Traore is also stepping up his recovery from a thigh issue.

Manchester United team news: Casemiro has been ruled out for “several weeks” with a hamstring injury sustained in the 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle United. Victor Lindelof has been taken ill and will be assessed. Defenders Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are currently unavailable, as well as winger Amad Diallo. Jadon Sancho, meanwhile, is training away from the first-team following a public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag.

Referee: John Brooks (Jarred Gillett VAR)

Opta Omen: Manchester United have lost five of their 10 Premier League games this season, and have a goal difference of -5 (F11 A16). It’s their most defeats after 10 games of a top-flight season since 1986-87 (6).

Saturday, November 4 (3pm GMT)

Referee: Thomas Bramall (Michael Salisbury VAR)

Opta Omen: Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo has been involved in 11 goals in his last nine Premier League London derby matches, scoring eight and assisting three. Since the start of last season, only Bukayo Saka (13) has had a hand in more such goals than Mbeumo (11).
