Previews of some of the Daily News’ other top high school football games this week:

Chaminade at Oaks Christian, Friday, 7 p.m.

Preview: This game is another one with “Game of the Week” potential. Oaks Christian debuts what looks to be an all-around strong team on its home field with junior defensive end Hayden Lowe providing power on the defense. Nate Bennett (Baylor commit) and Devin Tate will split playing time at quarterback and Justice Williams and Chase Farrell will be ready at receiver. Chaminade returns four starters with senior linebacker Cody Franck leading the defense and David Abajian (Oregon) anchoring the line at left tackle.

Cleveland at Kennedy, Friday, 7 p.m.

Preview: Kory Hall, one of the City Section’s best two-way players, will begin his senior year for Cleveland. The Colorado commit had 1,041 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns last season. Kennedy, last fall’s City Section Division III champions, will showcase running back Alonzo Fuentes again this season.

West Ranch at St. Francis, Friday, 7 p.m.

Preview: West Ranch, the reigning Foothill League champions, is young and could be tested against St. Francis. Junior Luke Deperno handles the ground game on offense and juniors Aidan Lombardo (linebacker), Michael Miller (end) and Obi Ogbuagu (corner) will hold down the defense. St. Francis’ Preston Jernegan is back for his senior year at linebacker and Alex Juarez is back at defensive end.

Bishop Amat vs. Valencia at Canyon High School, Saturday, 7 p.m.

Preview: Valencia’s artificial turf field isn’t ready yet, forcing the Vikings to find a new location for their opener and to push it back a day. They’ve been practicing on a dirt field, but their talent still shines in players like Reid Farrell and Tony Testa at linebacker. Aidan Hicks will be at running back. The starting quarterback will be Jackson Adkins or Brady Bretthauer; they have been battling for the starting position. Jayboe Wilson will lead the receivers.
