Well, according to Nintendo Life, the collection will actually be targeting 720p because this bundle is based on the PS3’s ancient Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
In fact, the site also notes that the menus in the current build carry a “2012” copyright notification, effectively confirming they’re based on Bluepoint’s decades-old remasters. Considering Konami is asking good money for this compilation, this honestly cuts a little deep – there’s no way this bundle should be releasing in 720p on contemporary consoles.
