Some European countries like Spain and Portugal have recently received discounts of up to €100 on PS5 systems, but a new claim of PSMore Leaker billbil-kun says the sale price will soon be extended to other countries. Although the lessor doesn’t know when the promotion will begin, it has released the kind of discounts UK, US and German residents can look forward to.

Sure, Sony raised the price of a PS5 in the UK and Europe almost a year ago, but the announced discounts would make the console cheaper than it was before the price hike. The price drop would take effect as rumors of a new PS5 model with a removable disk drive still swirl. It is reported that the new version will launch in September, but no further details have been shared for some time.
