Rahul Dravid and his wife travel to Mysore to watch their son in action for Karnataka

Rahul Dravid recently extended his contract as India’s head coach until T20 World Cup 2024 in June. He then travelled to Delhi to attend an ICC World Cup 2023 review meeting. Despite a hectic schedule, Dravid made sure to take out time for his family.

Recently, the legendary Indian batter was spotted in Mysore watching his son in action. Rahul and his wife Vijeta were spotted at Wadeyar Ground in Mysore, where Karnataka locked horns against Uttarakhand in Cooch Behar Trophy. Their son Samit was representing Karnataka.

Dravid is currently on a break as VVS Laxman stepped in his place to travel with the Indian side for the ongoing series against Australia.

After the ICC World Cup 2023 final defeat, there were reports that Dravid might not extend his contract. The board also contacted Ashish Nehra to become T20I coach, but the former seamer refused, following which the board convinced Dravid to take on the role again.

The next major event for India is the 2024 T20 World Cup which will be held in June in the West Indies & USA.
