Residents in southeast Wisconsin should prepare for significant snowfall

The National Weather Service is issuing a winter storm warning starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday through 3 a.m. Wednesday. The Milwaukee area could see between 5 and 7 inches of snow. The winter event is expected to be the most significant snowfall since Oct. 31, which saw 3.3 inches of snow. There have been nearly 500 snow closings due to the weather, including Milwaukee Public Schools.
