On the occasion of Dhanteras, Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to share two new posters of his upcoming film Dunki.

Shah Rukh Khan on Friday rang in Diwali festivities by sharing two new posters of his upcoming film Dunki. The posters featured SRK, Taapsee Pannu, Vick Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover.

Sharing the posters, SRK wrote, “Bina aisi family ke, kaise hogi Diwali aur kaisa hoga New Year? Asli maza toh saath chalne, saath rukne, aur saath hi celebrate karne mein hai… Dunki ki poori duniya hai yeh ullu de patthe! (Without such a family, how will Diwali and New Year be? The real fun is in walking together, staying together, and celebrating together… This is the whole world of Dunki).”

On the occasion of Shah Rukh Khan’s 58th birthday, the makers shared the first teaser of Dunki.

In Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan plays a man named Hardy, who desperately wants to move to London along with his buddies. Taapsee Pannu plays a character named Manu, and Vicky Kaushal is Sukhi. It appears that the film is set in Punjab, where youngsters are keen on moving abroad as they search for a better life. Dunki is SRK’s third release this year after Pathaan and Jawan.

The movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani who has helmed films like Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots. His last movie was Sanju (2018).

Dunki is all set to release on December 22.
