Shah Rukh Khan REVEALS He Rejected Slumdog Millionaire

Shah Rukh Khan revealed that he received an offer to play the host in the Academy award–winning movie Slumdog Millionaire, which was later portrayed by Anil Kapoor. When the actor revealed that Danny Boyle had given him the role first he denied it implicating that the role was negative. He talked candidly about working in Hollywood at the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai and said that he turned down the part and it ended up in Anil Kapoor’s hands.

It so happened that Danny Boyle offered SRK the part while he was hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati, in India. “Yes, Slumdog was there, now that you mention it. And I spend a lot of time with Mr. Boyle. He’s very sweet. But I was doing Who Wants to be a Millionaire (Kaun Banega Crorepati) on television, successfully at that time. And I just felt in the story that was being told, the guy who was hosting was very mean, in the story that was being told,” Shah Rukh remarked during his speech at the event.

Kushbu Sundar Makes Comeback To Bollywood After 35 Years

Kushbu began her career as an actress in the South and has since flourished, taking on several roles including the role of a producer. She recently made a career change and wrote the screenplay for the family drama Meera on television. Since there were time restrictions, she was forced to withdraw from her role in filmmaker Vijay Sri’s upcoming Tamil film Haraa, which stars actor Mohan.

She recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that she is making a comeback. She said, “My journey in films started as an eight-year-old in Hindi. @Anilsharma_dir Ji was an AD then. Today at the pinnacle of his career, I restart my journey yet again in Hindi films after 35 long years with this master of his craft with #JOURNEY, opposite the powerhouse of talent @nanagpatekar. It’s such an honour to be part of this amazing project. Couldn’t have asked for anything better to come back to my roots. Need your blessings to make a mark yet again.”

Shilpa Shetty Pens Letter To PM Modi

Following the opening of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Shilpa Shetty wrote a letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi praising him for creating history. The letter that Shilpa Shetty sent was published in Hindi in a post shared by the official BJP Maharashtra’s X (formerly Twitter) feed.

She wrote in the letter, “While some read history, and others learn from it, individuals like you (PM Narendra Modi) have the extraordinary ability to recreate it. You have rewritten the 500-year-old history of the Ram Janmabhoomi. Heartfelt gratitude for this. Your name will forever be associated with Lord Shri Ram for achieving this auspicious feat.”

Shriya Saran Reveals Bollywood Myth She Likes To Break

The trailer for the new online series Showtime, starring Emraan Hashmi, Shriya Saran and Mouni Roy, is now out. During the trailer launch event, Karan Johar asked Shriya Saran what she thought was the hottest thing in Bollywood to which she replied, “Really hot people.” When he went on to ask her to name someone, the actress responded, “I love Shah Rukh Khan.” Joining in, Karan said, “We feel SRK’s energy.” When she was asked to reveal something about Bollywood which is a myth down south, she said that people think its unsafe. She said, “That it’s unsafe, it’s very safe.”

Janhvi Kapoor Apologises To Khushi Kapoor After Spat

Janhvi recently left a sweet comment on Khushi’s Instagram photo to show her support and make up for their fight. Khushi posted a number of mirror pictures, looking stunning with her long, wavy hair and a stylish grey high-neck sweater. Along with complimenting Khushi on her gorgeous appearance, Janhvi apologised with a comment on her Instagram. She said, “I miss you, I’m sorry I fought with you, I love you,” and included a string of heart emojis. “You’re the best, my laddoooooooo” she commented. Khushi answered warmly in return, saying, “Miss u love u I’m sorry hehehehe.”
