During his latest #AskSRK session, Shah Rukh Khan showered love on ‘bhai’ Salman Khan while answering a fan’s question. Jawan is set to release on September 7.
As fans await the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, the superstar hosted an #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday. From answering queries about his looks to solving wife issues, the actor once again showcased his witty side while replying to his followers. However, one post that stood out was about Salman Khan and his latest look.
Bollywood’s Bhaijaan was recently spotted flaunting a bald look, which got mixed responses from his fans. While many wondered if it was for a new film, a section of the audience assumed his bald look is a promotional strategy for SRK’s Jawan. In the Atlee directorial, Shah Rukh also sports a bald look.
During the AMA session, a fan asked Shah Rukh Khan if Salman Khan’s look was to promote Jawan. “@iamsrk sir Salman bhai ka latest look bata rha hai ki wo jawan ka promotion kar rhe kya ye sach hai,” the fan wrote. SRK replied with a heart-warming statement, which echoed the bond the two Khans share.

Using Amitabh Bachchan’s line from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, SRK wrote, “Salman bhai ko mujhe pyaar dikhaane ke liye koi look nahi karna padhta. woh dil se hi mujhe hamesha pyaar karte hain. bas keh diya so keh diya (Salman doesn’t need to change his look to show love to me. He loves me dearly always. I said what I had to say).”
Jawan, directed by Atlee, has a strong lineup of female actors. Not only does it mark the Hindi entry of Tamil superstar Nayanthara in Bollywood, it will also star Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra in pivotal roles with Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. During the session, SRK also described Jawan as “a film about women made for men”.

One of the fans tweeted to Shah Rukh Khan, “Hi @iamsrk sir, eagerly anticipating #Jawan! Can you tease us with one word that best describes the journey your character goes through in the film? #AskSRK.” To this, Shah Rukh replied, “No tease, the one word that drives the movie is ‘Women’ it’s a film about women made for men!! Hope all like the Mass and Class….#Jawan”
The film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 7.
Salman Khan clocks 35 years
While SRK celebrated his bond with Salman Khan, the latter was also seen thanking fans as he completed 35 years in the filmy industry. Sharing a video montage of his many characters and film scenes, he wrote, “35 years went by like 35 days. Thank u for your love ❤️”
Salman had earlier made a special appearance in Shah Rukh’s Pathaan. SRK now would return the favour by playing a cameo in Tiger 3, which is set to release during Diwali this year.
