Shoaib Malik’s 5-year-old son aces obstacle run in viral video. ‘Fitness runs in the family’

In the now-viral video, Izhaan Mirza Malik was seen acing an obstacle run while being assisted by his trainer. The clip was shared by Shoaib Malik on X (formerly Twitter).

Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shoaib Malik recently shared a clip featuring his son Izhaan Mirza Malik showcasing his athletic skills. Shared on Wednesday, the clip has amassed over three lakh views and received an outpouring of love from social media users.

In the now-viral video, Izhaan was seen acing an obstacle run while being assisted by his trainer. He went through several hurdles in his path and was able to successfully complete the race.

“Fitness runs in the family. Like father, like son,” Malik wrote in the caption of the post.

Hundreds of comments were dropped in by social media users.

“Junior is a fitness freak,” a user wrote. Another user commented, He’s adorable, I suppose he’ll be a sportsman like his parents as well.”

“You are ignoring his mom @realshoaibmalik. Izhaan’s mom is one of the fittest athletes ever. Most of the credit goes to his mother,” a third user remarked. A fourth user added, “This is gold.”

Izhaan is the son of ace tennis player Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik. The duo recently celebrated his fifth birthday in Dubai and Malik even shared a string of pictures from Izhaan’s party. “Happy birthday beta. Baba loves you,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Mirza and Malik welcomed Izhaan in 2018 after getting married in 2010 in an intimate ceremony.

Malik was the captain of the Pakistan cricket team from 2007-2009. He currently plays for Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League. Mirza, on the other hand, was former doubles world Number 1. She announced her retirement in February this year, ending a professional career spanning two decades.
