Sonic’s New 3D Game Will Reportedly Remain “Exclusive To Apple Arcade”

Sega has revealed the Blue Blur is getting a brand new 3D action-platformer called Sonic Dream Team, the only catch is, that it’s an Apple Arcade exclusive.

According to Sonic Stadium, Dream Team is likely to remain an exclusive as well. A source that apparently was “involved in the game’s production”, told the site Apple was involved in production, which suggests it could have some sort of financial investment.

Although Apple Arcade exclusives have been released on other platforms previously, there’s not the best track record when it comes to Sega titles on Apple devices – with games like HARDLight’s Chu Chu Rocket! Universe limited to this platform (and now out of action).

Sonic Dream Team will launch on 5th December 2023, and will see Sonic and friends race across 12 levels and four worlds to stop Dr Eggman’s bizarre dreams from coming true. Apart from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy, Rouge the Bat and Cream the Rabbit will also be making a return as playable characters.
