Please call out your experience and/or passion in this industry to be considered.Bay Area candidates highly preferred.We are looking for a Sr. Creative Strategist to join Off Base to play a pivotal role in developing impactful and innovative campaigns for some of the biggest gaming brands in the world. They are deeply embedded in gaming and pop culture, and just as importantly, the social space. They pride in knowing the latest games coming out this week. They think big and know how to put the puzzle pieces together to develop insights that bring creative briefs to life and inspire our teams and clients to push the boundaries of innovation toward the best-in-class creative that Off Base is so well known for.This role will champion strategy across integrated teams, leveraging intelligent insights to create compelling content from the research stage, production, and evaluation. Driven by a natural curiosity, they have a deep understanding of human behavior and an unparalleled creative spirit. This role will also play a leading role in planning, facilitating, and leading thoughtful creative ideation sessions, knowing how to flare and focus participants to create productive workshops. This role is dedicated to one client and will be expected to support client senior leadership relationships. This position reports to the VP of Content Strategy. Role Responsibilities Innovation:

Stay ahead of trends in gaming, pop culture, relevant subcultures, and the social space, developing insights that inspire teams — and by osmosis our clients — to think outside the box.Be aware of shifts in the gaming landscape, particularly new software, hardware, and service launches.Stay ahead of platform updates, emerging technologies, and news updates that will impact our/ and our client’s business.Identify and speak to both core and broad gaming fandoms, applying that information to our strategic approach.Client Services:

Initiate research and data collection to strategically inform all decisions and recommendationsLead large-scale analytics projects to interpret data, and content performance, and provide clear actionable recommendations.Develop “big ideas” that are original, innovative, and unique to our clients brands and then able to translate these ideas into video and creative format that “break through the clutter.”Conduct discovery sessions to learn more about the client’s content performance along with landscape analysis to understand what is occurring competitively and creatively.Lead content development throughout the entire process from conception to production to distribution to evaluation.Lead inspiring ideation sessions to ensure they meet Off Base’s standards of excellence.Present research and recommendations confidently, to internal teams as well as client partners.Lead and develop executive presentations, strategy decks, and workshops for clients.Manage senior client relationships and identify long-term client needs and growth opportunities outside of a brief based on client relationships, business priorities, and the constantly changing digital landscape.Department Focused:

Work as a vital team member and leader within the content strategy department, including strategy development, brief creation, team briefs, campaign performance monitoring, and ongoing client communications.People manage a team of other content strategists and provide mentoring, guidance, motivation, and development opportunities.Build clear processes, workflows, and documentation to illustrate how Content Strategy impacts other departments.Collaborate with Client Stakeholders, Producers, Creative, and Social Leads to ensure deliverables are presented on time, aligned with client expectations, and on strategy to achieve business objectives.Write/develop strategy-related blogs, white papers, and trend reports.Honor our commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment embracing different voices, experiences, and perspectives.Consistently Exhibit Off Base Values

6+ years in social media marketing, creative advertising, or equal time on a Content Strategy team with proven success on global campaigns and building communities.Prior background in gaming with a deep knowledge of the games industry, history, and game titles, including current and past games and IPs.Analytical skills and research experience, with a deep understanding of Millennial & Gen Z demographics.Receive constructive criticism with grace and implement change proactively.Lives & breathes social. Vast experience in social-first campaigns, always on social channels, and influencer-centric work.Extensive experience in disruptive thinking, platform innovation, and non-traditional campaigns.Strong presentation skills, public speaking, and/or presenting.Experience managing a 360-integrated campaign from brief to execution and beyond.Exceptional written communication skills with flawless spelling and grammar.Ability to excel in a fast-paced and deadline-focused environment driven to produce results.In the possession of an ego-free personality that can work with a highly motivated team.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Strong project management skills, can juggle multiple complex projects but can always meet deadlines due to organizational skills and capacity to structure projects.Team management experience.Ability to combine creativity with analytical rigor.Passion for an ever changing content landscape.The ability to provide a well-supported POV that synthesizes emerging trends with client needs and provides actionable takeaways.Must have strong opinions on the future of Threads, Barbenheimer, and the Attenzione pickpocket sound.Why People Work Here
