Ashlyn Harris looked stony-faced on her 38th birthday yesterday as she was spotted making a very quick visit to the home she shared with her wife of four years Ali Krieger.
It emerged last week that the USWNT soccer superstars were breaking up with their relationship ‘irretrievably broken’, and Krieger hinted that Harris had been cheating on her with actress Sophia Bush in a fiery Instagram post on Thursday.
On the same day, Harris surfaced and exclusive DailyMail.com pictures show her carrying their son Ocean for a quick pitstop at the home, although she did not go in.
Harris – wearing a khaki green jumper and gilet, and a Yankees cap – walked up to the house and collected a stroller and a bag from the front porch, before immediately leaving again. It is unclear whether Harris still lives at the address.
It is also not known whether Krieger was at home at the time of the visit, and she will shortly be traveling to North Carolina to begin the NWSL playoffs with her NJ/NY Gotham FC teammates.
Sunday’s game against the North Carolina Courage comes amid her broken relationship making international news, and Krieger fueled the flames on Thursday when she posted on Instagram and appeared to hint at Harris cheating on her.
Posting a picture of herself in practice, Krieger wrote: ‘Preparing for playoffs while in my Beyoncé lemonade era.’
That 2016 Beyoncé record, of course, addresses her husband Jay-Z’s infidelity as a recurring theme.
Krieger, 38, has some big names from US soccer on her side judging by the replies.
The legendary Alex Morgan commented underneath saying: ‘These comments do not disappoint’ alongside a fire emoji.
Sophia Smith also commented, writing ‘energyyyy’ while another USA international, Crystal Dunn, wrote ‘Ooop’.
One reply from a fan said: ‘Y’all knew what you were doing by posting this hot mess’ while another wrote: ‘Well, this is one way to drive engagement. Not the best way, but definitely a way.’
People magazine reported earlier this week that Harris – who is now retired from soccer – and actress Bush had their first date ‘weeks ago’.
Harris, 37, hung up her boots in November 2022 and Krieger, 39, will also retire after the NWSL playoff run ends with her team, Gotham FC.
They adopted two children together – a boy and a girl – and married on Dec. 28, 2019, in Miami, nine months after they revealed their engagement.
Harris was pictured carrying their son, Ocean, on Thursday, but their girl, Sloane, was not present.
Harris played 25 times for USA as a goalkeeper while Krieger, a defender, made 108 appearances at international level for her country, both winning two World Cups in 2015 and 2019.
