Suzanne Somers’ son Bruce Somers Jr seemed to put on a brave face Thursday, just a few days after his mother’s tragic death.
The actress and influencer died after a long battle with breast cancer on Sunday, one day before her 77th birthday.
Bruce, 57, was the Three’s Company star’s only son.
He was spotted in Palm Springs, California where Suzanne lived with her husband, Alan Hamel, 87, for several decades.
The Sincbox Media founder beat the desert heat wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and sneakers while running errands.
The marketing expert carried a cup of coffee and wore dark sunglasses.
Referring to his mom’s 23 year battle with cancer and other challenges, Bruce called her a ‘warrior who articulated her fears,’ in his online eulogy.
He was joined by his niece Daisy Hamel-Buffa, 28.
The clothing designer is the granddaughter of Suzanne’s husband Alan Hamel, from his first marriage.
The So It Goes singer looked relaxed in an oversized gray T-shirt and athletic shorts.
Her dark, curly hair was pulled back in a bun, and she appeared to be wearing minimal makeup behind her black and white check framed sunglasses.
She accessorized with two stacked necklaces and clear hoop earrings.
The artist wore thick soled black shoes and gold and white checked socks and carried a large pink shoulder bag and seemed to be enjoying a coffee drink.
After her grandmother died, Daisy shared pictures of Suzanne holding her as an infant and wrote a loving tribute to her grandmother, whom she and the other grandkids called Zannie.
‘You taught us what it means to love and care and indulge and eat and enjoy life and appreciate beauty in all forms!’ she penned.
‘You raised all of us on your immense love and made everyone feel so truly seen and cared for.’
Recalling her final conversation with the Step by Step star, she shared, ‘the last time I saw you you made sure to tell me over and over again how proud you are of the woman I have become.
‘I promise to keep making you proud for the rest of my life and I know every time I am singing you’ll be there with me singing along with your beautiful harmonies. I love you forever Zannie.’
The family is still inviting fans to share their own memories of Suzanne on her website SuzanneSomers.com.
