Traffic closed after gunshot fired at DeLand business

DELAND, Fla. – Traffic was closed off in DeLand on Monday evening after a gunshot was fired into a local business, according to the police department.

In a release, police said they began investigating the gunshot in the 100 block of North Woodland Boulevard shortly after 7 p.m.

No one was injured, and it appeared to be an isolated incident, police added.

However, there are closures in the downtown area between Indiana and New York avenues, the release shows.
