Transfer deadline day LIVE: Man City sign Nunes, Chelsea confirm Palmer, Man United close on Amrabat, Liverpool land Gravenberch

Japhet Tanganga is heading out of Tottenham.

The 24-year-old defender has agreed a season-long loan move to Bundesliga side Augsburg.

Tanganga has struggled for game time in the Premier League, making just 27 appearances over the past four seasons.

Sergio Reguilon is also on his way out after Man United made a surprise loan move.

The full-back has completed his medical at Old Trafford and will be announced later on Friday.

Tottenham, meanwhile, remain keen on Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson.

Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is also on the club’s radar.

However, any moves are likely to depend on Spurs clearing out unwanted players, with Eric Dier, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele and Hugo Lloris among those who can go.
