A TRAVEL agent blasted by Seville-bound Rangers fans is being probed by a watchdog over a string of complaints about luxury holidays that allegedly came to nothing.
Conor Campbell, 25, faces claims he arranged dream trips for clients who were allegedly left in the lurch after paying thousands to his firm Travel Inspired Ltd.
It’s now emerged holiday regulator Protected Trust Services (PTS) is probing his firms.
Customer Gayle Russell told how she splashed out £9,000 on the self-styled holiday fixer but ended up with no tickets and a huge hole in her bank account.
And she claims desperate efforts to contact the getaway guru failed amid fears he’s sunning himself in a sun-kissed hotspot.
Gayle fumed in a social media post: “We were due to fly to Dubai in two weeks but alarm bells started ringing when I hadn’t received an overpayment I had made for the holiday.
“I called Emirates who have no flights booked in our names for the date we are supposed to fly.
“That’s £9k been paid to Conor for this holiday.
“Instead of doing his job he’s seemingly travelling the world and living the high life.”
Another traveller told how she arrived at Manchester Airport to set off for a birthday trip to Dubai and she too discovered her tickets were a fiction.

Recounting her ordeal on social media Mairhead Mcadam wrote: “What was meant to be a holiday of a lifetime turned into a nightmare.”
Campbell, of Airdrie, Lanarkshire, has shared a series of photos on social media at travel awards bashes and glam trips abroad.
He hit the headlines last year when he was forced to say sorry for a flight-bungle that sent Seville-bound Gers fans to the wrong airport.
He claimed he was chartering the “last flight to Seville” ahead of the Europa League final, punting tickets at £949 a pop and offering passengers the chance to win two tickets to the final.
He said at the time: “I’ve dubbed this ‘the last flight to Seville’ because we really do need everyone to pull together to get this off the ground.”
But Campbell was blasted by customers after the flight landed in Jerez, 40 miles away, sparking a mad and costly scramble to get to the match before kick-off.
The fiasco prompted one fan to say: “From start to finish, it was a joke.”
Campbell set up his firm in June 2020 and opened an office in Crieff, Perthshire, which is now closed.
According to official papers, the company accounts are overdue and the firm is subject to compulsory strike off.
Last night the Protected Trust Services (PTS), which ensures legal compliance of its members, confirmed it was investigating complaints about Campbell’s firm.
A spokesperson said: “PTS are aware of several issues concerning Travel Inspired Ltd, also trading as Conor Campbell Travel and Race Weekend Breaks.

“We placed Travel Inspired Ltd on stop sale, some time ago, with our supplier partners whilst we hold our investigation.
“Consumer protection is of paramount importance to PTS. Our PTS team is working with those impacted to address and resolve their concerns.”
