Ubisoft is renaming Ubisoft Plus, the popular video game subscription service to Ubisoft Plus Premium. The new plan will offer early access to games like the recently launched Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown alongside premium editions of titles like Far Cry 6, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

In a blog post, Ubisoft said the new Ubisoft Plus Premium plan will offer multi-access, meaning you can play premium editions of games on day one on platforms like PC, Xbox and Amazon Luna.

The company also announced that Ubisoft Plus Classics, which offers access to fifty-plus titles and was previously limited to PlayStation is now coming to PC. The new subscription plan for PC offers access to popular titles like Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs: Legion, with Ubisoft planning to add more titles.

Ubisoft Plus Premium offers perks like early access to new titles, premium versions of games, monthly rewards, exclusive deals and discounts and ten per cent off on virtual currency whereas Ubisoft Plus Classics limits gamers to standard editions of video games. Ubisoft Plus Premium is priced at $17.99 per month (approx. Rs 1,600) while Ubisoft Plus Classics can be purchased for $7.99 per month (approx. Rs 700).

Philippe Tremblay, the company’s Director of Subscription said that Ubisoft+ Premium subscribers will also have access to Activision Blizzard games like Diablo IV but did not reveal any information on when these titles will be available. Last year, Microsoft sold Ubisoft the cloud gaming rights to Activision Blizzard games for the next fifteen years to restructure the $69 billion acquisition.
