United Way awarded Larry Thomas the Freeman-Kortkamp Award, named after United Way volunteers Frankie M. Freeman and Robert O. Kortkamp.

Citizens for Modern Transit named four to its board of directors. Serving three-year terms are: Cynthia Crim of Commerce Bank, Adam Kazda of Greater St. Louis, Inc., Travis Pfeiffer of HNTB, and Sal Martinez of Employment Connection.
