Wamiqa Gabbi to star alongside Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh in Atlee’s next titled #VD18

Indian actress Wamiqa Gabbi has been making headlines for her praiseworthy performances in the recent web series, Jubilee. Now, the producers of Atlee ’s next (after Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, of course), the highly anticipated VD18, have roped in Wamiqa for the Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh-starrer.

Atlee fans, we know you are eagerly waiting for his next, the Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Jawan. But, the maverick director is already making headlines for his next project. For starters, Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh have been roped in on the yet-untitled project, VD18. What’s more? We hear that Wamiqa Gabbi has also joined the cast.

Wamiqa Gabbi expressed her excitement about the project, stating, “I am thrilled and grateful to be a part of this project. The opportunity to work alongside Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh is definitely something I’m looking forward to. I have been looking and waiting to do a full commercial Hindi project and this is just it. And I’m really excited to be working and collaborating with Murad sir and Atlee.”

The film is penned by the renowned writer Kalees, known for his critically acclaimed film Kee. The untitled film, going by the working title #VD18, is slated for release on May 31, 2024.

Apart from this, Wamiqa is currently busy filming for her next in Budapest, as she awaits the release of Vishal Bhardwaj’s maiden OTT series Charlie Chopra and the Mystery of Solang Valley. She also has Vishal Bhardwaj’s next, titled Khufiya, in her kitty. Khufiya also features Tabu.
