If you are trying to lose weight, then the keto diet may work for you. The popular diet revolves around eating low carb and high fat foods. Here are some delicious recipes you can try:

​Keto butter chicken

Ingredients

-200 gms boneless & skinless chicken

-10 gram butter

-1 tsp kasuri methi

-100 ml tomato puree

-1 tsp avocado oil

-50 ml water

-1/2 tsp turmeric powder

-1/2 tsp chili powder

-1/4 tsp pepper powder

-1/2 tsp coriander powder

-to taste salt

-2 tsp chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

Take a bowl and add turmeric powder, chilli powder, and coriander powder in it. Mix well. Marinate the chicken in this spice mix and set it aside for 15 minutes.

Now heat a pan and add the avocado oil. Pan fry the chicken for 5 minutes on both sides till it gets fully cooked.

In another pan, heat the butter. Once it melts, add the tomato puree and mix it with the butter. Now add kasuri methi and water. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes.

Once the tomato puree and oil get split, add the prepared chicken, pepper powder and salt. Mix well and cover for another minute on a low flame. Once ready, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.

​Keto friendly paneer bhurji

Ingredients

-83 g paneer

-10 g onion

-16 g tomato

-17 g capsicum

-16 g cheddar cheese

-2 g chopped ginger

-2 g chopped garlic

-2 green chilies

-1 tbsp butter

-1.5 tsp cumin seeds

-1 tsp turmeric

-1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder

-1.5 tsp coriander powder

-coriander leaves to garnish

Instructions

Crumble the paneer first. Now take a pan and add 1 tbsp butter to it. Fry the finely chopped onions and cumin seeds. Add ginger, garlic, and chopped green chilies and fry.

Add in the tomatoes, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder. Add some water and cover the pan. Let everything cook for 5-6 minutes.

Add the chopped capsicum and paneer. Add salt to taste. Now, add the cheese and cook for 3-4 more minutes. Garnish with coriander and serve.

Ingredients

-18 g almond flour

-15 g shredded mozzarella

-30 ml coconut milk

-Salt to taste

-A pinch of Cumin powder

-A pinch of Hing

Mix all the ingredients together to form the dosa batter. Pour the batter in a lightly oiled, non-stick frying pan and spread it evenly on the pan. Cook the dosa on medium heat till the bottom starts to brown. Let the batter cook all the way through, and you will soon see the sides will begin to lift a bit from the pan. Fold and serve hot and fresh with coconut chutney.

-1 cauliflower

-1 tbsp. green chilies

-1 tbsp. ginger

-2 tbsp. oil

-4 to 5 curry leaves

-1/2 tbsp. mustard seeds

-1/2 tbsp. red chili powder

-1/2 tbsp. pepper

-1/2 tbsp. turmeric powder

-salt as per taste

Instructions

Cut cauliflower into small pieces and blend them in a grinder. Take a pan and add some oil, curry leaves, mustard seeds, green chilies and ginger. Mix them well and add the blended cauliflower. Cook it on a low frame and add all the spices. Serve hot.

​Keto almond kheer

Ingredients

-3/4 cup heavy whipping cream

-1 cup unsweetened almond milk

-1/2 cup superfine almond flour

-1/2 tsp cardamom

-2 saffron strands

Instructions

Take a saucepan and whisk together cream, almond milk, almond flour, crushed saffron and grounded cardamom. Put the pan over medium heat and let the mixture boil. Keep whisking all the time to prevent any lumps.

Once the kheer boils, turn down the heat and let it cook till you achieve a thick consistency. Once ready, serve hot or refrigerate for a few hours and serve chilled.
