We are taking a ‘crystal ball’ look at the Granite State for 2024…On this segment of New Hampshire’s Business, Fred Kocher is joined by Matt Mowry, Executive Editor of Business NH Magazine and Mike Cote, Editor of the NH Business Review to discuss what the Granite State is looking at for the new year.There continues to be some deeply rooted systemic issues that still need to be addressed in 2024, such as lack of affordable housing, work force issues and lack of childcare.In 2023, the work force did bounce back, but many people resorted to dropping out of the work force due to not being able to find affordable childcare. However, there are many strong indicators going into 2024 that we will see more job growth, stronger wages and a continuing cycle of chipping away at inflation.
