Who are the highest paid players in the NBA? LeBron James still leads the league despite advancing age

In the list of the highest-paid players in the NBA for the 2023-24 season, according to Sportico’s Kurt Badenhausen, LeBron James and Stephen Curry are in the top spot.

The 38-year-old LeBron signed a two-year extended contract back in 2022 making him the highest paid player in terms of salary in the league’s history.

As reported, James is estimated to be paid $128 million as the highest-paid, accounting for an estimated $80 million in endorsements on top of his $47.6 million salary.

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old and four-time NBA champion Curry is charted with an estimation of $101.9 million off of $50 million in endorsement.

He is entering his second season of a four-year year deal as he remains rooted in the Golden State Warriors. Back in 2021, he signed a $215 million contract and is due to collect $51.9 million on the court in 2023-24.

According to the Forbes’ 2023 list of basketball’s highest-paid players, Curry is behind only Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James’ earning $101.9M in the 2023-24 season.

Other NBA players in the top spot of the list are Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is valued at $90.6 million, with half of his earnings coming from endorsement deals.

Kevin Durant is also another player of the league in the top spot with his earnings estimated at $88.4 million and for Durant, this is not the only source of income.

Durant apparently also owns companies making investments that range from media platforms to liquor brands to team ownership in other leagues.
