Sonia Amber Gair, 40, of 926 Grove St., Williamsport, stole $13,038 from Mark Thompson’s bank account between late July and Sept. 10 of last year, it was alleged in a city police affidavit. Investigators stated Gair made “56 unauthorized transactions,” illegally moving money from Thompson’s account to her own bank account, court records stated. Thompson admitted that at one time, he gave Gair “his bank card to pay a bill,” and that he got the card back, police said. He did not give permission for Gair to access his account again, police added. Facing felony charges of theft and receiving stolen property, Gair was arraigned Monday before District Judge Christian Frey and released on $15,000 bail.
