New games coming to Xbox Game Pass in April 2024

Xbox Game Pass continues its hot streak in April by bringing another great batch of games to the service, including a couple of titles that were removed from Game Pass many moons ago. Kicking things off, we have Superhot: Mind Control Delete, which rejoins Xbox Game Pass today after leaving the service back in May 2022.
On April 3, we have another 2K game joining Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming: Lego 2K Drive. According to estimates, unlocking all 38 achievements in the open-world racer will take between 60 and 80 hours — a lot of this time will be spent grinding out the 6K Drive achievement.
Joining Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on April 4 are Lil Gator Game and EA Sports PGA Tour (EA Sports PGA Tour is available via EA Play). Lil Gator Game looks to be a pretty easy 1,000G, with estimates putting the completion at around four hours. For EA Sports PGA Tour, you’ll likely need between 20 and 25 hours, depending on how quickly you can get to grips with the game’s swing mechanic.
Adventure title Kona returns to Xbox Game Pass on April 9 after leaving the service back in March 2021. If you are thinking about going for the 1,000G here, you’ll need to set aside around ten hours — just be mindful of all those missable achievements. Also joining Game Pass on April 9 is gardening adventure game Botany Manor, which you can read more about in our Botany Manor interview.
We have another game returning to Game Pass on April 11 with Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. The Definitive Edition includes all seven DLC packs released for the third-person shooter, which all feature achievements. If you’re thinking about going for the full completion, including the DLC packs, it will take you between 45 and 65 hours, according to estimates.
Finally, on April 16, we have a new day one title coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass with narrative adventure game Harold Halibiut.
As for games leaving the service, Microsoft has announced that six games are leaving Xbox Game Pass in the first half of April.
